Today's Excuse
Emily ate my power cord. Sounds like a lame no homework excuse, right? But no. Emily chewed a hole into my power cord. I am thankful that she and everything else is okay. No curly hair. No fire. I am not really sure when it happened. I did encounter her chewing on the cord and explained that was not okay and asked why she was chewing on it. She was hungry. Arg. Thankfully, my husband replaced it. No more watching movies on the laptop for Emily for a little while.

Mandy, may I suggest carrots? Gabe would approve, they help night vision. Oh man, I think that I'm going to be laughing/puzzling over that one all day. I feel like I am missing out on something. Never in my whole life have I chewed through a power cord. I will let you know how it goes.
